An adjacent property to the Tyranite gold deposit is he Duggan deposit. This deposit is located 1.5 km west of Tyranite. The geological setting and mineralization are similar with Tyranite property.
Duggan Mine’s near-surface intersections include:
o 1.52 gpt Gold over 75.5 metres in drill hole D3-07
o 2.20 gpt Gold over 34.50 metres including 40.0 gpt Gold over 1.0 metre in drill hole CD13-03
o 1.5 gpt Gold over 80.9 metres, using metallic screen assay method, from CD13-03
The exploration of Duggan property has been performed during the same periods and parallel with Tyranite property. During 1987-1988, were drilled 40 holes totalling approximately 5,500 m. As a results of drilling and trenching 5 mineralized zones were outline named as A, B, C, D and E zones.
During 2007-2011, drilled 15 diamond drill holes totalling 5,881 m. Creso diamond drilling (Holes D1-07, D3-07, D4-07 and D9-07, Dug10-13-19) has confirmed historic work and indicated extension of the mineral zone 220 m NNW and to a depth of 250 m (White M., 2012). Orefinders is treating all resources on its Shining Tree properties as historic.
